Description:
Now your drivers can sharpen their skills in a safe, interactive environment. Like PC-based flight simulators for pilots, SAFE•Sim™ will literally put your drivers behind the wheel and have them drive through a virtual
world of busy interstates, two-lane highways, city streets, and mountain roads. Plus, it will put them through the type of highrisk situational training that would be far too costly and dangerous to conduct on real roads.
Best of all, you can customize the training to suit the needs of each driver. You can select from a variety of different routes plus choose what hazards and environmental conditions you want each driver to experience. For example, you can choose city or country roads … night or day … rain or ice. You can choose to have your drivers experience emergency situations like tire blow outs, a car running a red light, and sliding on ice.
You can even choose what type of tractor (long nose, short nose, or cab over) they drive, with what type of load (full, partial, or empty). Or select a straight truck. It’s all up to you! What’s more, SAFE•Sim™ records driver errors so that you and your drivers can review them later to assess deficiencies and determine if additional training is required. You can also use the review/scoring feature to set company-specific standards forcurrent drivers and to screen driver applicants.
